Too bad you were already up here on "official business" and couldn't join us for the fair, although it was hotter than Hades yesterday when we went--no place for a PG lady to be traipsing around. My midwives always said that when PG, after the first trimester "a drink is fine, but drunk is bad." In Russia and Eastern Europe, doctors often prescribe for pregnant women to drink one beer a day. So not that you have to indulge, but there's no judgey-ness coming from this camp. Come north again and the nursing mom and pregnant mom-to-be can sip on some chilled libation together!
