My Philosophy
I love to eat, cook, bake, dine out, and grocery shop. I can’t really think of a food I don’t like. However, I am quite particular about the ripeness of my produce (anything too ripe or perfumey makes me gag) and the done-ness of my meat (undercooked beef, YES!; undercooked chicken, NO!). This isn’t a 100% “healthy food” blog, though most of my recipes are pretty healthy. I believe in a balance of all things healthy and not-so-healthy, though my indulgences tend to use the best ingredients I can find.
My Recipes
Sometimes I cook freestyle and make up a recipe as I go along. Other times, I rely on my favorite books and magazines to guide me. Any time I use a recipe from another source, I cite it appropriately. Still worried about copyright infringement? Maybe this will be helpful.
My Food
I really like to talk about food. I love trying new and/or quirky food products and calling everyone I know to talk about how amazing they are. To give my friends (and poor husband) a break, I’ll write about them here. Do new foods/food products excite you, too? Maybe we can be friends.

Yes! New food/products excite me too and I can talk about food and different ingredients for hours. I make up hypothetical menus for parties I never have b/c it would be almost impossible and my husband dreads going to the grocery store with me b/c I like to check.out.everything. So glad I’m not the only one enchanted with food.
Haha! Rebecca, I shop alone too…for the same reason! It’s therapeutic.
